چکیده
Abstract Plastics have contributed to global greenhouse gas emissions as the main cause of climate change. Coconut water has potential a good raw material for developing biodegradable plastics, an environmentally friendly alternative. About 22% coconut fruit component is water. Based on conversion results using Indonesian tall varieties, in every processing that produces 1 ton copra, by-product 1,158 liters. If not used and only thrown away, it will affect surrounding environment. With help Acetobacter xylinum bacteria, saccharose converted into glucose fructose. A. ability form cellulose through fermentation process called biocellulose (bacterial cellulose). Bacterial same chemical structure derived from plants, but bacterial advantages, including high purity, tensile strength, elasticity. The Biodegradable market 2019 was around USD 3.4 billion expected grow by 13% with value 8 2026. plastic made impact increasing added while maintaining environmental sustainability.

Coconut shells as filling material for anaerobic filters
In rural areas of developing countries, there is a lack of sanitation services and the installation of such infrastructure is hampered by the high investment costs for initial implementation and by the limited availability of qualified personnel. An alternative to traditional sanitation services include an anaerobic filter, but the high cost of appropriate filling material can be an obstacle to...

Packaging waste forms a significant part of municipal solid waste and has caused increasing environmental concerns, resulting in a strengthening of various regulations aimed at reducing the amounts generated. Among other materials, a wide range of oil-based polymers is currently used in packaging applications. These are virtually all non-biodegradable, and some are difficult to recycle or reuse...

Abstract—In this study, the feasibility of incorporating ceramic waste from bricks (perforated brick and double hollow brick) and extruded polystyrene (XPS) waste, is analysed. Results show that it is possible to incorporate up to 25% of ceramic waste and 4% of XPS waste over the weight of gypsum in a gypsum matrix. Furthermore, with the addition of ceramic waste an 8% of surface hardness incre...
متن کاملLignocellulose as raw material in fermentation processes
Lignocellulose in the form of forestry, agricultural, and agro-industrial wastes is accumulated in large quantities every year. These materials are mainly composed of three groups of polymers, namely cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin. Cellulose and hemicellulose are sugar rich fractions of interest for use in fermentation processes, since microorganisms may use the sugars for growth and prod...
